Who we are
Kaivon is responsible for your information. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Contact: support@kaivon.app.
This website
kaivon.app doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising tools. Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
What Utopia collects
- Your account: an anonymous account when you play as a guest, and the email address you sign in with if you save it.
- Your profile: the name, username and picture you choose, the worlds, piece sets and aura you use, and your coin balance.
- Games: the games you play, their moves and results, your coin history and the items you own. In Guess My Doodle, drawings are shown live to that game’s players and kept only until the turn ends; a game’s chat and guesses are deleted a day after it ends.
- Messages: chat messages and voice notes you send in games and to friends, and your friends list.
- Purchases: on the web, Flutterwave processes your payment and sends us its reference, amount, currency and result, so we can add your coins once and handle refunds. We never receive your full card or bank details. In the apps, Apple or Google take the payment and send us its ID and status.
- Reports: what you write when you report a bug, with an optional screenshot and email, and the app version and device details.
- Crash reports: what went wrong when the app crashes, with your device model and app version, sent to Sentry. They don’t include your name or messages.
- How you use Utopia: when the app opens, the screens you visit, and when you finish a game, buy something or chat with Chip (not what you say), so we can fix problems and improve the game. This stays in our own database.
- Chip: your messages to Chip and a little context from the app are used to write its replies. If you send Chip a photo, it’s used to draw your picture and isn’t kept on our servers.
How we use it
To run the games and match you with players, keep your coins and items safe, deliver messages and notifications, make Chip reply, process purchases and refunds, prevent cheating and fraud, and fix and improve our games. We don’t sell your information and we don’t show ads.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep your information while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in Utopia: Settings › Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, friends, messages and sign-in. An anonymous record of coin movements, purchases and finished games is kept without anything that identifies you, because other players’ histories and our payment records rely on it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@kaivon.app. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
Utopia isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 is playing, contact us and we’ll delete the account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the game.
