Kaivon
Terms of Service
The rules for using Kaivon’s products and websites, including Utopia, its coins and its purchases.
Last updated October 22, 2026
Who we are
Kaivon (“we”, “us”) is a product studio. We make Utopia, a collection of games played with friends, and run the websites at kaivon.app and utopia.kaivon.app. By using our games or websites, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to use Utopia. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms for you, including for any purchase.
Your account
You can play as a guest, and save your account with an email address at any time. Keep your sign-in to yourself: you are responsible for what happens on your account. An account is for one person, and it can’t be sold, lent or transferred.
Coins and virtual items
Utopia has a virtual currency, coins, and virtual items such as worlds, piece sets and auras. When you earn or buy them, you get a personal, limited right to use them inside Utopia. You don’t own them, and:
- Coins and items have no cash value. They can never be withdrawn, sold back to us, or exchanged for money or anything outside Utopia.
- You can spend coins in Utopia, gift them to other players inside the game, or use them as an entry to a match, where the winner receives the coins. A draw returns everyone’s entry.
- Buying, selling or trading coins, items or accounts for real money or anything outside Utopia is not allowed.
- We may change what coins buy, prices in coins, and rewards. If your account is closed, its coins and items are lost.
Purchases
Prices are shown before you pay. On the web, payments are processed securely by Flutterwave; we never see your full card details. In the iPhone and Android apps, Apple or Google take the payment under their own terms. Coins are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Fair play
Play fair and be kind. You must not:
- cheat, use bots or automation, or exploit bugs (please report them instead);
- harass, threaten, impersonate or bully anyone, or post hateful, sexual or violent content;
- try to access other players’ accounts or our systems, or disrupt the games;
- use Utopia for anything illegal.
Utopia includes house players: computer-controlled players that keep games and leaderboards lively when nobody else is around. They’re marked as house players on their profile, and they never win prizes.
What you create
Your drawings, chat messages, voice notes and pictures stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the players you share them with, so the games can work. We may remove anything that breaks these terms.
Chip and AI features
Chip, Utopia’s companion, writes replies and pictures with artificial intelligence. What it says can be wrong, so don’t rely on it for advice, and don’t share anything private with it you wouldn’t want processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our games and content
Our games, art, music, characters, names and code belong to Kaivon or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use them only to play, as these terms allow. Everveil is in development: what we show of it may change before it’s released.
Changes, suspension and closing accounts
We keep improving our games, so features may change, and a game may be paused or retired. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where we reasonably can. You can delete your account at any time in Utopia: Settings › Delete account.
Liability
Our games are provided “as is”. We work hard to keep them running and fair, but we can’t promise they will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can’t be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Nigeria. Before going to court, please contact us: most problems are solved quickly that way.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
